Marcus Chua
Director
Marcus Chua brings over two decades of experience in architecture, landscape, interiors, and graphic design to AFW. His diverse portfolio spans hospitality and residential projects across Vietnam, China, Singapore, India, Mauritius, Fiji, the Middle East, and beyond. Since joining the firm in 2006, he has contributed significantly to its growth and was appointed Director in 2024.
Marcus leads projects from post-concept design through to completion, with a focus on hospitality, residential and large-scale master planning. He is closely involved in business development and the establishment of office management systems, and is known for his strategic oversight and hands-on project delivery. His ability to coordinate across teams, consultants, and clients ensures consistency and quality throughout the design process.
A strong advocate for biophilic and sustainable design, Marcus integrates environmental responsiveness into all aspects of his work. He also mentors emerging designers and oversees AFW’s internship programs, aligning them with academic frameworks to support professional development. He is an accredited member of the Singapore Interior Design Society.
